Who We Are

Mary Jo Houser

As President of WBA, Mary has been providing dedicated payroll, bookkeeping and managerial accounting services to her clients since 1985. She is considered one of the preeminent QuickBooks experts in the Denver metro area.

Mary is a hands-on user of QuickBooks which has given her the ability to effectively train hundreds of individuals and companies since the early 90s. Appreciating the complexities of QuickBooks, Mary says she herself learns something new with every training she oversees.

Mary has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with emphasis on Finance and Accounting

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), American Payroll Association (APA), and National Society for Tax Professionals (NSTP). She is a Certified Payroll Pro (CPP) and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Steve Frank

As WBA's Director of Business Development, Steve has a deep understanding of the needs and demands associated with business management and ownership.

Before joining Well-Balanced Accounting in 2007, Steve was an Executive Director of a non-profit for kids. His professional experience includes nonprofit management, fixed asset accounting and entrepreneurship.

Steve is an experienced bookkeeper and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
